First of all my first impression is this thing is very pretty, it appears to be made of solid wood I can confirm this. My cane came packed well and the color is what I would describe as chestnut or maybe early American with a slight red undertone. None the less it is very attractive the hand piece has a nice eagle head design on the front as you can see in the pictures I have attached. The rest of the hand piece sort of has like a pistol finger grip feel to it in a swirl design. The cane comes in two halves and screws together in the middle of the shaft with what appears to be solid brass or a brass alloy. One assembles it by screwing it together and it is very solid feeling once put together, according to the web site it will hold 300lbs.

Beautiful design and great quality. Well pleased with the product! The fact that it's in two pieces makes for easy assembly and I like the gold accent. Looks like a strong brass fitting. :)(Bought for my dad, and that's what he said!)

I like the design on the handle and the grip is ergonomically designed in very comfortable to use .

I love the color of the wood and I am very impressed with this .

The cost is pretty comfortable to any others out there, it arrived quickly and securely and it looks more beautiful in person than the pictures could ever show. I'm definitely happy with this. 10 out of 10
